I always wanted to be a mom and I always thought being a stay-at-home mom was the ultimate dream. While prepping for my first baby, I was prepared to lose sleep but I never considered the loss of income, the isolation, the inabilty to set a schedule, and the judgement to always have meals cooked and the house clean. Pre-baby, I was a finacially-secure social creature with the ability to do what I wanted, when I wanted. Although I am much better at coping now, I still struggle with these changes in my life.

I’ve created this blog to share my journey as a mom searching for alternative income sources, navigating financial challenges, and continuing to embrace a frugal lifestyle. I will remain anonymous for now to protect close family and friends. Anonymity also allows me to be transparent about my financial goals and my progress in achieving those goals.
